Sir Keith Park

May 26, 2023

Sir Keith Park was a man of unparalleled strategic and tactical genius, and with foresight in aviation. And with a strong commitment to civic duty to match. The purpose of our Look Skywards project is to honour his values by providing the recognition that he deserves.

We are running this project to gain more recognition, acknowledgement and tribute for Sir Keith Park who was born in Thames, Coromandel. In addition to his extraordinary and exemplary military record, his legacy of leadership and humanitarianism should be inspirational to our young Maori and Pakeha New Zealanders.

This link below is an excellent and very recently released video about the life and successes of Sir Keith Park

Any donations to enable us to complete the statue of Sir Keith to complement the existing Hurricane FIghter at the Thames Airfield would be greatly appreciated.

Battle of Britain Commemorations are being held on Sunday 10th September @ 11:00am

All welcome.
