Independent Living Charitable Trust, in conjunction with Stroke Aotearoa NZ are providing power chairs for people across Aotearoa who need them.

Thanks to the generosity of the late Peter Morath who included a gift in his will for this purpose, Stroke Aotearoa New Zealand is proud to offer a National Mobility Fund, for stroke survivors across Aotearoa.

Who can apply

If you are a stroke survivor living in Aotearoa and believe a power chair could support your independence and daily life, you may be eligible. The grant covers the cost of the power chair, assessment, and delivery. Eligibility criteria apply.
