No Duff’s primary function is to provide a quick response capability to rapidly assist current or former service people (or their families) in crisis. This is achieved by utilising our network to direct the most appropriate volunteers (considering age, service background, or any other relevant factors) to assist the person in crisis with their immediate needs, be they physical, mental or emotional.
Once their immediate needs have been met, No Duff will then either continue to provide longer term support as required, or will assist with transitioning the person into an appropriate support agency based on their situation and needs.
