Rannerdale Veterans’ Care
Residential care-based services includes 62 long and short-term based high and low-level care beds out of its facility. The focus of the home-based services is to work in partnership with the client to either a rehabilitation pathway to greater independent and/or maintain their independence. The philosophy of care centers on supporting the health and psycho-social needs of veterans across the adult life continuum by promoting health and wellness and supporting veterans of all ages to build resilience and identifying self-care strategies. The work includes supporting the family/whanau of veterans.
Provides residential and home-based care to the veteran community across Canterbury and the Upper South Island. The Homecare division provides home-base support to veterans living in their own homes who qualify for Veterans’ Affairs New Zealand (VANZ) funded home-based domestic support. Can provide individualised client centered care to veterans and the ex-service community and their families, many presenting with a wide range of chronic complex service related healthcare needs including mental health care.
